We are proud to announce that we have taken out the Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine's Best Small Cellar Door Award for the Bendigo Region under Australia's Best Cellar Door Awards for 2017. Judges perform a mystery shopper experience across all cellar doors so we are very proud we have met the standard for not only high quality wines, but excellent customer service too. So drop in to our cellar door at the Bendigo Pottery Complex. We look forward to seeing you...
With 93 Points scored in the Australia Wine Business Magazine recently, we know that we are certainly up with the best!
We are very pleased with our Gold Medal for our 2015 Glenwillow Cabernet Sauvignon in the recent edition of the Winewise Magazine. Another great accolade for us and our quality wines.
With our first RESERVE Shiraz on release the 2012 has astounded us by becoming finalist in this prestigious competition. Amongst the likes of Grange & Hill of Grace, the Glenwillow RESERVE Shiraz still has a chance to take out the top spot. Final judging has not concluded however we are already ecstatic to be held in such esteem.
On release our 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon has taken a DOUBLE GOLD medal! (This is rated above a gold medal and holds the highest accolade at this show.) This is outstanding and we are thrilled as the calibre of our wines continues to shine. This wine show is all about pairing food and wine which is all part of the judging process...a little food and a taste of wine. Truly fantastic for Glenwillow Wines.
We are very proud to announce that Glenwillow Wines is now recognised as one of the best wines to cellar for the long term.
"Our commitment to producing high quality fruit from our vineyard coupled with our decision making in the winery has again delivered us with another strong accolade. We are very proud to be in this category." Peter Fyffe

Wines of silver medal standard, wines of great quality, style and character, and worthy of a place in any cellar”). Our Sparkling Shiraz Cabernet and Barbera also rated well.

2012 Cabernet Sauvignon rises to the occasion...(3/3 Stars- Winestate Magazine)
Our 2013 wines have recently been bottled and are looking very, very flash. These wines are rich and full-flavoured with our signature soft, velvety mouthfeel. These wines are currently in storage at Harcourt Coolstores where they are kept at constant 14 - 16° C. Here they will slowly mature and continue to soften and integrate their complexity. We expect to release the Italian varieties, Nebbiolo and Barbera, early next year, while the Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon will be mid-2015.
Bendigo's Leg of Food and Wine Festival's World's Longest Lunch.
The Bendigo leg of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival was a
hall-mark event in which the Glenwillow Nebbiolo was served. Taking
place in the picturesque setting of Rosalind Park Bendigo, the Nebbiolo
was paired with a Malaysian Style Duck with Green Bean & Mint Salad
dish. The pairing proving popular.
"It's pretty exciting for us to see a very long table full of wonderful people with very big grins enjoying our wines. So thank you to all of you who attended and we hope to see you at the next event." (...comments from Peter on the day.)
We also got a mention in the Bendigo Advertiser too...Click here to read the article.
